I have definitely had my fair share of computer problems but perhaps none are as irritating as accidentally deleting a file I happened to have actually needed. This can cause problems for everyone involved and is something that I personally know I don't enjoy dealing with on any sort of regular basis. The good thing in this situation is that there are several methods that can be used in the actual retrieval of the deleted file. This article will be dedicated to how to recover a deleted file.
If you are lucky and possibly you are then the file may still be in your recycling bin on the machine that you deleted it from. That should definitely be the first place that you check in case as I said that it is actually there. This would be the easiest way to recover the file.

Simply open up the recycle bin and click on the file that you deleted. Once you have that file selected you are going to right click the file name and click restore. This will place the file back where it originally came from as long as that destination is still available.
The other more unfortunate method of retrieval comes if the recycle bin happened to get emptied and your file has actually been deleted altogether. The first thing you are going to want to do is start searching Google for programs that work with deleted retrieval. The problem here is most of the programs are either hit or miss. None of them work fantastically and some are able to find files easier and further back than others.
Recovering a file isn't always going to work depending on the duration that the file has been deleted and your program options but at least you know a couple possible methods on how to recover a deleted file.
