Demartek LSI WarpDrive the Web server performance

Demartek LSI WarpDrive the Web server performance Tube. Duration : 6.07 Mins.

LSI Corporation commissioned Demartek their WarpDrive acceleration card, a solid-state memory implementation, to assess in the PCI Express ® (PCIe) bus on a server connectors. The purpose of this evaluation was to compare the performance of a web server with WarpDrive for storing web content to HDD. WarpDrive 300GBs is able to provide storage and PCI Express interface, multiple transactions per second and higher throughput will be resumed on the hard disk. These tests were conducted inDemartek laboratory in Arvada, Colorado Demartek use of servers, hard drives and network infrastructure. LSI has been WarpDrive acceleration board solid-state storage and packaging of the CD. The content of the web server has been created by Demartek and run on Windows Server 2008 R2 with IIS 7.5. Moving the Bottleneck The server workload of Web applications with high performance solid state storage technology when they moved to a heavier load, has an example where the store is no longer the bottleneck was shown,1GbE but the network was the bottleneck, which forced us to our network of 10-GbE move. We believe that there's more solid-state storage is deployed and moved to heavy loads, IT professionals find similar new bottlenecks. "We have tremendous performance of the Web server, very fast response time and low power consumption LSI WarpDrive with the map," said Dennis Martin, president of Demartek. "We had to move our 10-GbE network for maximum performance WarpDrive, achieve more...
